Ambur and I took a week off to go to Brazil for the Rio Carnival!

We had a fantastic time and saw some amazing Samba dance as well as going to a few classes ourselves.

But the highlight of the trip was definitely going to see the Carnival. We watched three Samba schools parade past (each get 1 hour to perform for the judges), and there are thousands of dancers per school. The floats were huge and the costumes stunning – take a look for yourself…
