Bollywood School Workshops, London
Bollywood school workshops for all abilities in schools and youth groups in London and across the UK
Bollywood Vibes has over 12 years of teaching experience providing Bollywood workshops to schools and groups in London and across the UK. Our Bollywood school workshops are a fun and energetic way to get children moving and learning about Indian culture.
If you are not able to have us into your school at this time because of Covid 19 restrictions, we have some fantastic online options for you too, to keep you all dancing. Please see our Online Bollywood page for all the info
Indian Festivals
Whether it’s to help learn about Indian celebrations like Diwali, Holi or Eid, or simply to teach them about Indian culture, our workshops are a great way to get children educated.
If you want us to focus the dance on a particular Indian festival, just let us know so we can theme it to match the dance and give lots of background information on it for the children.
Dance styles
In our school workshops we specialise in Bollywood dance, but we can also do Bhangra or classical Indian dance too. It’s great for boys and girls as it’s really physical and full of character.
Dressing up
Our dance teachers wear colourful Bollywood costumes and also provide bindis and colourful hip scarves for the children to wear so they really get into the Bollywood spirit!
Experienced Teachers
All Bollywood workshops and teaching sessions are carried out by a trained Bollywood dance teacher who works on the creativity of dance, bringing in technique and fun. We believe it is very important to encourage students to embrace their creative ideas and have fun at the same time.
All our teachers have current DBS checks which they will bring, along with their photo ID to the school.

Half day workshops
A half day can be in the morning or afternoon and lasts 2hrs.
We can work with several classes during this time, or do a longer intense workshop for one class ending in a performance.
Full day workshops
A full day of workshops is from 9am till 3.15pm.
We can work with lots of different classes during this time.
You could even finish off your day with a performance from some of the classes in assembly – it’s a lovely ending to the day.
Online dance options
If you are not able to have us into school in person at the moment due to Covid 19 restrictions, we have some fantastic alternatives for you…
It’s important for children to have exercise, creativity and a break from the usual home schooling!
We are delivering all our school workshops via Google Classrooms and Zoom and they are working really well.
Head to the Online Bollywood page for loads of info on how it all works, and the prices.
Drumming workshops
We also offer drumming workshops so that students get to experience learning an Indian instrument. Children love banging things and making loads of noise, and now they can learn how to do it in a skilled way!
These workshops can be done on the same day as one of our dance workshops, or just booked separately as a one off Indian music workshop.
Our professional musician has 20years of experience working in schools and youth groups, bringing his music workshops to children of all ages. He brings in a large range of drums and percussion instruments for the children to try, before teaching them how to put a piece of music together for an informal performance at the end of the workshop.
You don’t need any previous experience for these workshops and they are great fun.
Dance and Drumming Assembly
If you have a dance workshop and a music workshop on the dame day, we can finish the school day with a fantastic assembly where the classes get to perform their dances and music to everyone which is a really fun thing for the children to work towards.
