Poster for Bollywood Vibes appearance at Tree Hotel, Iffley

We were honoured to perform for Kavita to celebrate her combined 60th birthday and charity event at her hotel, The Tree Hotel in Iffley. She had invited guests to her first Bollywood night and they were ushered into the marquee with Bollywood film posters on all the walls to create the theatrical feel for the occasion.

We did our two performances and a fantastic workshop, with loads of guests having a go at learning some Bollywood moves. The birthday girl and her two lovely daughters had the prime spot on the stage!

Great publicity – we were also interviewed by Destiny Radio, who were covering the event. It was my first radio interview and I really enjoyed talking about Bollywood Vibes – I could have gone on all night! We were also in the Oxford Mail the week after!

The auction raised £950 for the John Watson School in Wheatley, and we have already been asked to go back to the Tree Hotel to put on another Bollywood night – so it was a success all round!
