1st Birthday Party

Wow we have been soooo busy here at BV headquarters – so many gigs in the last few weeks. It’s been great!

On Friday night we did a performance at the Millennium Hotel in Grosvenor Square, Mayfair, London. It was for a 1st birthday party. The hotel is beautiful, really old and grand, and we were performing in the ballroom. It was a sit-down dinner for 100 guests and we were excited to meet the lucky 1-year-old who was the center of the party.

It was a mixed crowd and the client had especially asked for the four dancers to be of mixed ethnicity, which we were happy to provide. We did two performances and got lovely feedback from the client and guests who said we gave so much energy and were the best Bollywood dance act they have seen in years! It’s so nice to hear that people appreciate all our hard work; it makes it all worthwhile.

We eventually met the little girl who had been woken from her nap and was wearing a diamond tiara. She was very cute, but i’m not sure she really took in our dancing!!
